O POVO DA FEIRA EM TONS DE PRATA

A Feira Central de Campina Grande é um Patrimônio Cultural do Brasil reconhecido pelo IPHAN. Ponto de conexão entre Seridó, Brejo, Cariri e Sertão, a Feira Central além de ter sido um importante motor econômico para a cidade, também foi modelador e irradiador da cultura peculiar da Serra da Borborema.
O Povo da Feira em Tons de Prata é resultado de minhas visitas a esse espaço público entre os anos de 2008 até 2019 e é uma forma de homenagear os homens e mulheres que todos os dias acordam cedo e trazem, vida, sons e cheiros para aquele esse encravado no coração da cidade de Campina Grande.
The Central Fair of Campina Grande is a Cultural Heritage of Brazil recognized by IPHAN, its history begins in the 8th Century. Connecting point between Seridó, Brejo, Cariri and Sertão, the Feira Central, besides being an important economic engine for the city, was also a modeler and radiator of the peculiar culture of Serra da Borborema.
The Peoplein Silver Tones is the result of my visits to this public space between the years 2008 to 2019 and is a way to honor the men and women who wake up early every day and bring life, sounds and smells to that this wedged in the heart of the city of Campina Grande.
